In trying to stay consistent with my daily reading, it helps to talk about it, so I’ll share the verse that spoke out most to me.
Today’s comes from Ezra. The Jews had come back from Babylonian captivity and were prosperous. Yet when Ezra was told about the intermarriages taking place that were forbidden in the Torah, he wept bitterly and pleaded his people to be of one mind, to repent, and to divorce their families in order to serve the Lord.
Did Ezra do what was right? In my mind, seeing as how the book never directly states that what was done was righteous, I think not. God hates divorce. Even in the new testament, Paul instructed newly converted Christians not to divorce their non-christian spouses.
But I still find it admirable that Ezra was contrite. His desire to see his fellow man follow God’s heart is an example of the love I should have for everyone in America. So I pray Lord, that you give me the heart to love the common man as Ezra did.

I remember how you tore the head off the shark and I thought to myself, “She killed one of her childhood toys to make this with me.”
I love and miss you, Ryan. Though it’s been more than three years since I’ve last seen you, I know and trust you’re doing great things with the marines in Japan. Even if you don’t associate yourself with Christianity anymore, I still pray you might come back some day. In all honesty, I liken you to the protagonist from Deathbed. My hopes do, anyways.

So I dyed my cats pink with leftover beet water. No regrets! <3 :D
I had to wash them because of some oil spill they had gotten into, and chose to use the beet water, which is perfectly safe. I had no idea it would really make them this pink.
"If he keeps up this sexual vigour and dominant attitude for a few more years, the other males in the mountains have no chance of mating with any of the females."
Think we found the final boss of The Bear.
